Baltic ICT community on the way to FP7
29.06.-30.06.2006 IST 4Balt workshop in Laagri, Estonia
The workshop is organized by Inforing AS in framework of the IST4Balt project funded by the IST Programme and in co-operation with EDNES (France).
The workshop aims at strengthening the scientific and technological co-operation and collaboration among the EU countries in the field of thematic priorities of the IST program.
The workshop will assemble approximately 100 participants coming from more than 10 European countries (private & state organizations, sicentific and educational institutions, SMEs).

the workshop set out to investigate the potential benefits of new organisational working concepts for SMEs. EPRI-start presented some lessons learned from the project by taking up the perspecitve of SMEs from the new member states.

The event is co-organised by the EPRI-start project, the SME Union and the European Grants Advisor (Microsoft) It aims to explore both the challenges and opportunities for SMEs in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector. The event will facilitate the exchange of views between policy makers and practitioners. Particular emphasis will be put on the experience of the new member states and on EU funding issues.
